The MSU College of Music String Quartet is formed by Daniela Diaz (violin), Anna Khalikova (violin), Gabriela Aboites (viola), Derek Eilert (cello). During the opening reception at the Broad Museum they will play five short pieces by Colombian composer Jesus A. Rey Mariño that have been arranged for string quartet by Adolfo Hernandez before finishing with pieces by Piazzola (Libertango), Ponce (Estrellita), Gardel (Por una cabeza) and Piazzola (Adios Nonino).
